Legal Cashier

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a growing organisation within their Skelmersdale office. The successful candidate will work alongside the organisation's fee earners and will be responsible for all aspects of cashiering within a legal firm.

Description

The Legal Cashier will be responsible for:

Posting client & office account transactions
Daily bank reconciliations
Bank payments ( BACS & CHAPS ) and transfers between accounts
Payment of professional disbursements in line with SAR
Providing expert knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
Liaising with fee earners & support staff

Profile

The Legal Cashier will have experience of:

Working in a busy legal cashier department

Experience of legal accounting software

Other accountancy experience is advantageous
