As a Lead Security Architect, you’ll be seen as a leader and mentor across security teams - a technical authority across a wide spectrum of security disciplines such as Identity & Access Management, Data, Application or Infrastructure Security.
Your accountabilities will include driving security strategy through strategic business initiatives and major programme and validating and identifying delivery opportunities for the mid to long term security strategies. Additionally you'll be validating and QA of the architectural components and building blocks that will be used by the solution design team to construct compliant, secure and dependable IT systems. You will also lead the development and communication to senior internal customers of scope and solution options to support the realisation of the business and customer proposition. And you'll ensure that architecture decisions are aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g. PCI-DSS/SoX) and internal policies.
Additionally you’ll be accountable for ensuring IT security strategies and roadmaps have a clear and traceable requirement to a business need, strategy or other necessary requirement. We'll also look to you to be responsible for leading the architecture of programmes and projects reaching across the domain from initiation through to implementation to ensure the dependencies across and within the domain are handled.
We’ll need the following from you:
•The ability to evidence previous successful delivery of an IT Security or Cyber strategy/roadmap in a complex technical and shared business environment
•Demonstrable evidence of achieving agreement from senior business and technical leaders and driving adoption of strategic ideas to achieve agreed objectives
•A comprehensive understanding of how controls protecting data, application and networks can be integrated into the system protection architecture
•Good industry understanding of the regulatory and technology landscape that drive best in-class security frameworks supporting IT strategies such as Mobility, Cloud and Virtualisation.
