KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER-TELECOMS

About the role

Due to the nature of the business, a background (e.g. knowledge, experience or qualification) within mechanical / electronics engineering or similar field would be highly advantageous.

Main responsibilities

• Manage key clients (bluechip & commercial), providing innovative solutions and maintaining positive business relationships.
• Meet and exceed SLAs and KPIs, ensuring highest levels of client satisfaction at all times.
• Day-to-day running of the department, overseeing a team inclusive of account administrators and hands-on technical engineering staff, ensuring training and development is given as necessary to staff.
• Devise and maintain department policies and procedures, ensuring highest possible levels of efficiency within the department.
• Promote the business in a positive way at all times.
• Provide quotations and technical designs of products to clients.

Candidate requirements

• Qualification in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering - e.g. diploma level (useful)
• Background/understanding of hands-on engineering (useful)
• Strong business acumen
• Able to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels
• A confident leader who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient IT skills
• Good customer service skills, ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction
