Brief Outline:Junior Mechanical Estimator - M&E Contracting - £40-45K - Hampshire. An M&E Contractor based in Hampshire are looking for a Trainee Mechanical Estimator, they are looking to train somebody who has already got a good knowledge of mechanical systems, the ideal candidate will be working as a mechanical engineer, mechanical supervisor or mechanical project manager.

My client are an M&E contractor located in Hampshire, they conduct a variety of projects including commercial, schools, hospitals, museums and leisure up to £2M. My client is looking for an experienced Junior Mechanical Estimator in and around Hampshire
About the Role:
* Assist in co-ordinating the tendering process from start to finish
* Developing, maintaining, refining and standardising the estimating system & tools
* Liaising with all areas of the business as necessary to support the tender process
* Establish quantity of work scope from enquiry documents in a transparent manner
* Comply with client tendering guidelines and procedures
* Collate enquiries for suppliers and subcontractors
About the Candidate:
* Formal mechanical engineering qualifications or apprenticeship
* Background of working in M&E contracting
* Good working knowledge of mechanical systems
* Ability to learn new skills quickly
* Good commercial awareness
* Knowledge or experience of estimating would be beneficial
* Hampshire based would be preferable
