A world renowned technology company is looking for a talented and motivated Java Developer to join its well established and dynamic engineering team.
This role offers the chance to work across a variety of exciting, mission critical projects and programmes at various stages of the development and systems engineering lifecycle, whilst learning new skills and building upon those you already possess.

The role
Working alone or as part of the wider team, you will be designing and developing software solutions and user interfaces to client requirements. You will strive for continuous technical improvement by re-architecting and updating software. There will be elements of support, as software and systems go live and so you will be comfortable liaising with and speaking to clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Essential skills
Exposure to the full software development lifecycle Strong J2EE development skills JavaScript / GWT Exposure to Oracle / SQL 
Desirable skills
Exposure to large scale complex secure systems Low level design Knowledge of or exposure to integration testing Networking protocols Java / ISTQB certification
