Java Developer (J2SE Core Java Developer Software Engineer Programmer Servlets JSP Maven Spring Google Guice Banking Finance) required by my banking client in London. You MUST have the following:

• Good experience as a developer/software engineer with Core Java SE7, J2SE
• Servlets/JSP
• Maven or any alternative build automation tool (such as Ant, Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Dependency injection frameworks (such as Spring or Google Guice)

The following would be DESIRABLE:

• OSGi
• Angular.JS
• Glassfish, Tomcat, Apache
• Agile

Role: Java Developer (J2SE, Core Java SE 7) required by my banking client in London. You will join a central digital team that builds and maintains the bank's client-facing website. It is a team of 14, with 10 devoted to development, testing and DevOps. You will be working with a suite of applications for transactional banking and online digital banking. The technologies will be Core Java 7 (J2SE), Servlets, JSP, Maven, Spring and Google Guice. The work is primarily project based and will also require you to contribute to some web development involving OSGi, AngularJS, Tom Cat, Apache and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for the CMS.

You will be mentored by senior developers and offered the opportunity to learn and run your own projects. The environment is Agile and adopting DevOps tools for continuous integration, automated deployment and configuration management.

The environment is relaxed and friendly. It is a meritocratic environment that allows staff to grow and develop. The hours are 9-5.

Salary: £50k - £65k + 25% + 10% Pension
