Older Peoples Mental Health (OPMH) Services is looking for a motivated Integrated Clinical Lead (Registered Mental Health Nurse/Practitioner) to join our local Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) to provide skilled assessment & treatment interventions to Older People with Mental Health (OPMH) needs in Basingstoke area (especially Tadley, Whitchurch, Kingsclere areas). The role involves supporting the CMHT to provide memory assessments and to deliver our patient and carer established training course called Memory Matters. This post will also incorporate work supporting those patients with functional and generic mental health needs.

 

You will play an important role in the team as we aspire to provide excellent patient care and develop our services in line with national and local drivers.

 

To be a successful member of our team you will need to be a registered mental health nurse with relevant experience, have a genuine interest in working with older people and be able to demonstrate a real commitment to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients and their families.

The base for this job Parklands Hospital but Alton Community Hospital is also available as a hub.

 

A car driver and to have access to a car that can be used for work purposes is essential for this post.
