An opportunity has become available for an Insurance Product Manager - Retail Insurance working within the Daimler Insurance Services department reporting to the General Manager.

The main purpose of the role is to develop and implement insurance programmes and product development initiatives within a highly regulated environment (FCA) for all General Insurance distribution channels, including the day to day management of the supporting relationships including, marketing departments, MBFS & Retailer sales staff and insurer partners. Ensure that all insurance distribution is managed in a structured, compliant way, documenting processes, product design, market analysis and delivering products which are suitable for the Mercedes-Benz customer base and adhere to the principals of Treating the Customer Fairly. To be successful in this role, you will:
At least 3 years comprehensive motor insurance and/or private lines background with experience of sales and marketing activities.
High levels of organisational and administrative skills.
Educated to Industry recognised professional qualification (ideally FCII/ACII).
Proven ability to develop and deliver communication plans across a wide variety of mediums.
Strong oral, presentation and negotiation skills.
Detailed understanding of principals of insurance regulations relevant to the sale and distribution of insurance products.
