IDS employs a considerable team across five locations in a variety of specialist skills including data development, analytics, research, report development, decision execution, CRM, insight consultancy, software development and econometrics and has a very extensive and deep stakeholder base across 30+ areas of Sky, covering every subject - from acquisition to retention, from on-screen to online, from marketing effectiveness to targeted advertising. The key responsibilities will include:

* Developing deep collaborative relationships with relevant Stakeholders within the Customer Team and across the wider business including a comprehensive understanding of their business context, strategies and objectives.

* Identifying the key decisions and questions for their business areas and develop insight-based advice and decision support strategy to inform both strategic and operational business decisions

* Managing a forward-facing Insight roadmap that support Customer Team initiatives, business targets, performance improvement and transformation objectives.

* Involving key people in the decision making process to ensure ownership of ideas/plans and if necessary bringing experts into the process to build credibility and influence outcomes

* Managing peer and stakeholder expectation of the deliverability of business goals

The successful candidate will possess the following;
Essential Key Criteria:

* A proven track record of working across a variety of insight areas and delivering outstanding analytical outputs

* Desirable - Previous experience of Media, Broadcast, Content sectors with specific experience of exploiting viewing and product usage data.

* Strong data and analytical skills with an ability to draw conclusions and recommendations based on your analysis

* Experience at creating and applying segmentation 

* Technical skills of analytical tools or languages (SAS, SPSS, SQL) and third party data that can be used to support analysis 

* Analytics and Reporting Management: Candidate must have extensive experience in commissioning, delivering and communicating insight using a range of insight sources including BARB, Comscore, Vespa, Experian, TGI and Sky customer/prospect data and tools (e.g. TechEdge, IQ Advantedge, Comscore, Adobe Analytics, SQL, etc.) and of delivering integrated insight using a range of sources and tools
