Are you a Process Engineer from an automotive background, looking for your next exciting immediately available contract role with a global automotive provider.
The role offers a recently expanded state of the art site, future career opportunities and superb training.
The position is to Develop and maintain low cost manufacturing methods and processes, ensuring product quality.
The role
*Determine and plan work stations and processes / process improvements using appropriate planning instruments to produce optimum layout
*Facilitate and drive continuous improvement activities in line with business targets and objectives eg. Kaizen workshops, manufacturing and logistics
rationalisations
*Ensure machinery availability whilst adapting machine capacity to required call-off figures
The person
*Good understanding of manufacturing processes, controls and organisation
*Knowledge of module assembly cells and sequencing functions
*Awareness of Voith Luton product range and functions
*Capable of using AutoCAD software for layout
