A Corporate Law Firm is looking for an Immigration Paralegal to join their London office. The Immigration Paralegal must have at least 12 months experience and hold a minimum 2:1 degree in a related subject or equivalent.
The duties of the Immigration Paralegal will include but are not limited to:
Using resources made available to carry out legal research
Assisting on all Corporate Immigration applications and enquiries, particularly Tier 2
Booking appointments, proof reading applications/documents, drafting letters and emails
Liaising with clients and various contacts
Administrative tasks including working with other departments to complete financial tasks such as filing fees, pre-payments and reporting any problems to whoever necessary
Facilitating the receipt of key documents
Supporting the immigration barristers with legal and administrative work
Meeting strict deadlines in a timely manner
Using their own initiative to complete work
Meet the clients objectives alongside ensuring the companies regulations are followed
The ideal Immigration Paralegal will have:
Minimum one years experience within corporate Immigration
Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
A full and working understanding of PBS applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong understanding of MS office
The ability to meet strict deadlines and work efficiently
A strong level of professionalism
