To manage the unprecedented volume of data, businesses must determine how to efficiently preserve, protect, analyze, and maximize the value of their (un)structured data. Object storage is designed to do so at web-scale. IBM Object Storage solutions are deployed on-premise, in the cloud, or a combination of both, allowing customers to design a storage architecture that meet their specific needs. 
To help implement the marketing strategy and drive demand for object storage solutions in Europe, we are seeking a Portfolio Marketing Professional that can work across different disciplines and departments, to drive success for our clients and IBM. The Portfolio Marketing Professional will team with their worldwide Cloud marketing colleagues to understand the overall strategy and then localize plans specific for Europe to drive awareness and demand for Object Storage solutions locally. 
Working across IBM Cloud and IBM Systems teams, you will collaborate to define, drive, measure and refine the marketing plan to meet business demands in Europe. This will include but not be limited to:

 
  • Develop a strong marketing business plan, defining the addressable market opportunity, and identifying the relevant trends.
  • Develop, manage and maintain strategy elements such as target audiences, value proposition and narratives assuring that we are supporting and driving activities that position IBM Object Storage solutions in Europe in a differentiated and competitive manner
  • Developing a strong in depth knowledge of the solution and the relevant IBM portfolio
  • Defining the routes to market for Europe. This will include assessing what elements of IBM Routes-to-market methodology is appropriate to focus on opportunity identification and ownership.
  • Actively track business and marketing success and put in place plans and initiatives to address opportunities and gaps.
  • Work with offering management and marketplace teams to ensure an optimal (digital) customer journey from engagement, to on-boarding, to increasing utilization
  • Localize sales enablement content to help sellers identify opportunities
  • Work with channel and storage teams to ensure that all channels are enabled to actively market and sell Object Storage solutions in Europe
  • Work with Sales to capture the voice-of-the-market and adjust tactics to maximize business results.
  • Actively track business results and put in place plans and initiatives to address gaps and shortfalls.
