DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to champion the strategic and tactical People Plan, translating goals and HR calendar activity and delivering this for specified business area of Services. The responsibility will be for effective business partnering that drives improved business performance and engagement. The incumbent will foster key relationships with the business and build trust, exert influence and manage projects and change as needed. The person will have the ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams. You will: • Provide support to the business area on all people related matters, providing information and advice in line with or HR policies, relevant legislation and best practice. • Build the people management capability of designated client group to ensure that issues are dealt with proactively. • Work closely with the wider HR team and Services HRD and business to develop innovative approaches to building an enhanced culture of employee engagement. • Deliver strategic and tactically focused people initiatives with a clear link to delivering business strategy and driving business performance • Be an active Ambassador for HR, contributing to and supporting the business and ensuring the business is an employer of choice. • Equip business with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in line with their people plans e.g. performance and absence management, career management. • Educate and coach senior managers on the performance management process and the goals of employee development. • Work with business to ensure development is happening for all employees. Do you have? • Experience in a similar role with a progressive commercial organisation, ideally in a head office environment. • Extensive experience in proactively understanding business challenges and partnering with Management to develop HR mechanisms to deliver business plans. • Experience of driving change initiatives and embedding behaviours • Previous experience of delivering innovative HR initiatives, particularly around performance management, talent management, employee engagement, and workforce planning. • Degree educated with a post degree qualification in HR or Organisational Psychology preferred.
