About the role:
Work as a strategic HR Business Partner to an aligned business area by working with the Directors and Head of Departments and helping to develop and implement the people plan. You will do this by working with your business area and other areas of HR to interpret relevant people insight into actionable improvements.
You will help to develop the People Plan by proactively supporting the business with talent management, identifying ways to enhance leadership and management capability and for planning strategic change initiatives.
This is a busy and varied role where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact, not least by working closely with business leaders and HR colleagues on the culture and climate of their business area and using insight to drive improvements and improve performance.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable success in influencing business stakeholders at a senior level to adopt appropriate HR strategies that support the business agenda, using a variety of influencing styles.
You'll have a broad understanding of different aspects of HR, including a good grasp of employment law and the ability to use information and analysis to create and deliver appropriate strategic people plans.
You will have delivered agreed outputs by creating successful virtual teams from mixed functions and locations and real senior professional teams for roles with line management responsibilities.
