Hospitality and Catering Training Assessor

The successful candidate will have experience in Chef / Front of House and Hospitality Management; will be passionate about their industry and will have a vivacious and outgoing personality.

Your role will include:

• Delivering and assessing apprenticeships in Catering & Hospitality
• Inducting, training, monitoring and assessing students on the apprenticeship programme
• Engaging learners and employers in work based learning ensuring learners achieve their goals, employment and progress into lifelong learning
• Visiting employers across the North West
• Promoting a positive company image and assisting in the promotion of the apprentice programmes provided by the training provider
• Working within a large team of training officers and assessors

The ideal Candidate must:

• Have a broad working knowledge of the Hospitality and Catering sectors
• Experience of working within Front of House departments
• Have extensive experience within the industry and a passion
• Have a genuine passion for developing individuals and guiding them through the learning process
• Possess excellent Maths, English and ICT skills
• Ideally hold an assessor qualification (training will be given to outstanding applicant who do not hold the qualification)
• Hold a full Driving License
• Be able to travel to assessment centers and businesses across East Lancashire and the North West
