Our client innovation in Children’s Services is a family owned, successful expanding company. They are a specialist provider for children in care and care leavers with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
As a specialist practitioner your main duties will involve assessing the emotional wellbeing and mental health of the young people in their service. You will provide daily support in the form of one to one mentoring/therapeutic interventions and to liaise with staff and professionals.
They are seeking a motivated and flexible individual who is able to work autonomously whilst under the direction of management. You must have good communication skills and be able to effectively manage your workload.
As a fast expanding company you will be required to travel between the various service locations in Kent.
They welcome applications from a wide range of disciplines or a highly experienced worker within this field, who have a good knowledge of emotional and mental health issues, e.g. a Registered Mental Health Nurse, a Therapist, a Counsellor, a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or applicant of an equivalent qualification.
Salary will be dependent on qualifications, experience and skills of the successful applicant.
