Our client a respectable organisaiton are seeking a Head of Payroll on a permanent basis within their head office located in London.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing the Payroll Services section to ensure the delivery of a high quality service.
Maintaining budget accountability for the payroll service and leading on strategic planning and decision making.
Managing and supporting the Payroll Managers to ensure an effective service is provided (and maintained) to all stakeholders.
Reviewing and developing the Payroll Services SLA to meet the changing needs of the section.
Developing a strong working relationship with The Pensions Board ensuring the integrated processes for the Pensions Payrolls continue to be harmonised and streamlined.
Ensuring that payroll processing timetables, communications, controls, RTI submissions, and year end requirements are managed proactively for all payrolls.
Planning and management of systems development and updates of payroll related software.
Ensuring that statutory requirements and timetables are met for ongoing pensions auto enrolment.
Reviewing and developing management information reporting.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
You will be CIPP qualified and have substantial expereince of managing a large and complex function.
Up to date knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, NI, Statutory Leave, Court Orders, Pensions, severence payments, childcare vouchers, tax year end, P11D's,
Up to date knowledge of Channel Island payroll legislation including year end reporting.
Previous experience of managing a large team and processing large volume payroll (over 10,000)
