Head of Delivery (Agile Application Development and Support DevOps Manager Development Support Operations Automation Continuous Integration Deployment Agile Digital Online .NET Finance Banking) required by my banking client in London. You MUST have the following:

• Current or recent experience as a Head of Delivery or equivalent- managing teams of in-house developers, testers, pre-production engineers and post-production support engineers, within an Agile Scrum environment
• Experience as a manager for 20+ reports that design, develop and support in-house .NET applications
• Experience implementing Agile and DevOps processes and associated tools; getting the business involved and collaborating.
• Experience implementing and improving continuous integration, automated deployment and configuration management for rapid and frequent releases
• Advanced in man-management, budgeting, strategy and senior management reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Knowledge of microservices, DDD, CQRS and event sourcing
• TeamCity, MSBuild, Octopus, Puppet, PowerShell DSC or equivalent
• A regular contributor to the online and open-source community

Role: Head of Delivery required by a medium sized bank in London. You will manage five product scrum teams and a separate operations support team, totalling 30 employees but reaching 40 FTE in the next 3-4 months. This will further grow to 50/60 in the next 12-18 months. The teams design, develop and support online banking applications, in .NET, in a highly Agile environment, embracing DevOps technologies such as Octopus, PowerShell DSC, Puppet and TeamCity. The development teams have incorporated microservices, CQRS, event sourcing and DDD for the last 24 months.

Your task will be to stabilise and improve the operations environment; oversee and aid the continuous improvement and adoption of Agile and DevOps techniques and processes; grow the unit to accommodate the plans and growth of the business.

It is extremely important that you are self-motivated and stimulated by up to date methodologies and technologies. You will join a team of highly capable and aspiring individuals.

Salary: £90k- £120k + 30% Bonus + 10% Pension
