An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and pro-active Group Legal Assistant to provide integral support to a small team of lawyers. Focused on a variety of projects, contracts and other legal matters, you will be managing centrally controlled programmes that are implemented throughout Wolseley’s global network of businesses. They include the whistleblowing hotline, compliance online training, and litigation reporting. Acting as an ambassador for the team, building and maintaining credible relationships with internal and external personnel will be critical to the success of this role.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or qualification with a minimum of two years’ legal or office experience within a legal team or global company. As a self-motivated and forward thinking professional, you will need to demonstrate highly effective project management and organisational skills with an exceptional attention to detail. Highly proficient IT skills including MS Office, personal credibility, sound judgment and exceptional communication skills are essential.
