Our client is a growing player in the conference sector. They possess a great reputation in the market and have seen their size increase dramatically over the last few years. Now operating at least 12 events a year, they have established themselves as a key player in the niche market which they operate in. With considerable interest in their events and new ones planned for 2017 this would be a great time to get involved!
About the role of a Graduate Media Executive:
As a Graduate Media Executive initially before you move on within the company you will be expected to focus on contacting organisations with a view to offering them free delegate places to attend industry conferences. The aim of this is to build your knowledge, confidence and understanding of the market. By the end of this process you will understand who operates in market, what companies do etc. Initially you will use the phone but you will also be expected to travel to the conferences (often overseas) and build relationships. Once you are fully immersed into the sector you will then have a choice of moving into conference production or onto the sales side. (This normally takes at least 6 month's experience).
