Otis Elevator Company is the world’s largest manufacturer and maintainer of people-moving products, including lifts, escalators and moving walkways, employing more than 60,000 people, offering products and services in more than 200 countries and territories and maintains more than 1.35 million lifts and escalators worldwide.Due to ongoing Major Project wins, we are seeking talented Assistant/ Project Managers to help deliver multi-million pound, complex lift installations for High Rise construction projects of iconic buildings in London.
Although you may have a proven track record of successfully delivering technical projects within the construction industry, this would also be the perfect opportunity for a graduate calibre candidate with some experience of Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Construction to develop their career within a global business.
Key responsibilities will include managing the strategic aspects of large projects, working closely with the project team to mitigate any risk, defining project objectives, forecasting, undertaking effective day to day management of the project and ensuring that the project runs to time and budget by taking P&L responsibility whilst also delivering operational performance excellence, customer satisfaction, engineering support and improved profitability.
Your personal traits are also important to us and therefore you will be a highly effective communicator, who can be assertive when required and understands the importance of meeting deadlines whilst ensuring effective customer service. You will also be commercially astute with the ability to maximise profitable revenue and be able to deliver results in a customer facing capacity where long term relationship building is key. You will be highly organised, IT literate and able to thrive in a large complex demanding organisation
