Basic qualifications:
o World class brand/ portfolio management experience including:
*Proven track record of contributions to the strategic & operational planning process to drive growth,
*Demonstrated ability to identify and deploy powerful insights to deliver creative marketing materials to engage customers,
* Proven track record of driving brand performance / launch success, ideally at a global or regional level / across varying healthcare environments.
o Strong strategic, analytical and entrepreneurial capabilities and experience.
o Science based marketing experience, ideally including digital/ multi channel.
o Ability to work collaboratively and lead complex projects with successful outcomes within a matrix organization.
o Ability to make and act on decisions quickly and effectively and foster the same in others.
Preferred qualifications:
o Life science degree.
o Experience and strong track record in Respiratory
o Experience in launching or leading a major asset globally.
o Be able to communicate to many key stakeholders complex terms in a clear and credible manner.
o Qualified final commercial signatory.

This is a unique core marketing role to support the ongoing global launch of Relvar/Breo (ICS/LABA) – a priority asset for GSK – working as part of a high performing team to help drive ongoing launch performance. Best recent ICS/LABA launch in almost all markets, Relvar/ Breo is at tipping point. The Global Respiratory Franchise are looking for a Marketing Manager to work within the Global team – led by the Medicine Commercialisation Leader (MCL) and ensure a continuous rise.
Key responsibilities
The role is ideal for someone with high capacity, strong collaboration skills, a performance orientation and an ability to set strategy and translate it into action.
Specific expectations:
The specific role expectations for the successful candidate will include the following:
Brand/Product champion:
o Be a product expert i.e. extensive knowledge of phase III/ IV studies as well as understanding of the core value propositions.
o Champion Relvar/Breo and drive performance of the brand to ensure alignment to the Global Strategy, positioning, key messages, etc.
Commercial strategy development:
o Lead the annual business / brand planning process/ rollout based on high quality customer insights.
o Support brand, access & regulatory strategy implementation & adaptation as required.
Competitor positioning:
o Review the competitive landscape and research opportunities to strengthen GSK’s position growth for patient benefits.
o Develop competitor cards and APACT.
Materials development:
o Support the implementation of global brand strategy through development of high quality marketing materials deliverables (inc. global campaign) to an agreed budget & timeline.
o Leverage evidence generation to strengthen the brand profile. Key studies results will be read out or published in 2017 and 2018.
o Take enterprise thinking with the wider portfolio to ensure clear unity and alignment from the customer’s perspective.
Performance tracking, monitoring and continuous improvement:
o Optimise Relvar/Breo launch performance across key markets by reviewing / improving local planning and execution.
o Share and embed learnings from other markets to update Relvar/Breo Winning Formula.
o Support and deliver post-launch optimisation tactics.
o Support 2 Top 8 markets as a ‘buddy’ (countries TBD).
International Congress:
o Lead Relvar/Breo commercial strategy for international Congress.
