Financial Accountant - Treasury & Compliance

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a qualified Accountant or nearly qualified (final stages) to join a market leading business in North Yorkshire. The main purpose of this role is to pro-actively assist the Finance Manager (Treasury & Compliance) to operate the Compliance function of this thriving organisation, be alert to risk and proactive in ensuring compliance and best practice is cascaded throughout Finance and the business. In particular take responsibility for Treasury and Base Financial Controls (BCF’s) compliance, with involvement in statutory accounts, corporation tax and VAT as and when required. The ideal candidate will be an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with good technical experience in a middle or lower tier practice, have excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. Candidates that are part qualified can still apply but you will need to be half way through your your study.
