- £25,000 - £28,000 + Company Van + Overtime + Pension + Healthcare + Phone + iPad
- Overtime (Mon ? Sat x1.5 and Sunday x2).
- OTE £33,000 - £34,000
- Paid door to door.
- 25 days? holiday + 8 Bank holidays.
- Life cover paid at x6 annual salary.

ATA are currently working with a market leading company that has over 50 years? experience in the manufacture of pumps, engines and pumping systems. The company design, manufacture, install and service pumps, pump packages, engines and equipment for a wide range of applications within the process sector such as water and commercial applications.

The UK business generates £50m annual sales with over 300 UK staff. The field service business is a lucrative part of the business and due to the continued growth of the department, they are now looking to recruit 3 Field service engineers across several locations.

Key accountabilities:

- The Field Service Engineer is responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown, troubleshooting, repair and installation and commissioning of a wide range of pump systems and engines on customer?s sites.

- You will fault find, repair and replace both electrical & machinal parts to component level.
- Conduct a visual inspection of the entire system and to report any potential issues.
- In some cases, you must remove waste, conduct oil & filter changes and change parts
- Train customers and other Engineers on the equipment.
- Interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment, utilising specialist knowledge and standard test instruments and tools.
- Full diagnostics and inspection.
- You will also asses the general condition of the system and report any worn out parts so repairs/replacements can be arranged for a later date.

- You will be home based and carryout up to two services per day.
- All services will be issued via an iPad and all reports will also be electronically reported.
- You may need to work the occasional weekend - this maybe 3 or 4 time per year.
- You will go to site and be paid door to door.

The successful candidate will have the following essential knowledge and attributes:

- Experienced Service Engineer who can demonstrate an understanding of a combustion engine ? (multi skilled ? Electrical & mechanical)
- Ideal backgrounds would be Ex Forces, military, Army, Pumps, Engines, Combustion Systems, Forklift Trucks Cranes, Plant Equipment but not limited to engineering machinery or related equipment.
- Electrical capabilities - 1224 volt, 240 volts and 3 phase electrical equipment.
- Ideally possess a technical qualification
- Willing to travel extensively and stay away from home as and when required.
