The position of Facilities Assistant is available to be based at St Monica's Community Hospital, Easingwold working in the community facilities team. The ideal candidate for the post will have experience of working in a healthcare environment. Duties will include cleaning in all clinical and non clinical areas of the site, disposal of waste and serving food and beverages to patients and general washing up within the kitchen.

Previous experience of working in a catering/cleaning environment is essential however training will be provided. The ideal candidate must be able to read and write in English and be able to converse with others too.

There are two positions available; Position 1 is working every weekend, Position 2 is flexible to provide cover for annual leave, sickness and training, therefore flexibility is required in this role.
