As the threat landscape continues to evolve we want to ensure all our 30m customers can conduct their business in a safe and secure environment. We are continuing to invest in our Cyber Security & Risk teams and programmes and as a result an opportunity has arisen for you to join the Cyber Threat team within the wider Vulnerability, Management & Threat team of IT Security.

You will be joining an existing team that looks after all F5 Networking hardware and software for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). This is a role that matters providing essential design, delivery, support, and strategic capability for F5 Network technology along with providing technical support of the platform. (Both in core hours and outside of core hours via participation on a standby rota)

An understanding of server operating environments, including a strong background in UNIX, and experiences with switches, routers and firewalls in intranet/Internet/extranet environments with the ability to apply a thorough understanding of IP routing and TCP and UDP service provision is important along with a strong understanding of the OSI networking model as well as protocols such as HTTP, SSL and other server concepts.

In return we offer an excellent remuneration and benefits package, a flexible working environment and a dedication to your development through career opportunities within one of the largest financial institutions in the UK or via our new Cyber Academy as part of our Cyber Awareness, Education & Training programme. This is for current/new colleagues offering a clear development path which will link to a recognised accreditation through the IISP (Institute of Information Security Professionals).

If you have the skills and dedication we require we would love to hear from you…
