Engineering Estimator

I am working with a growing Engineering company in Sheffield who are looking to recruit an Engineering Estimator,

• - The day to day role will involve producing Bills of Material, issuing enquiries for materials and subcontract activities.
• - Upon receipt of enquiries finalise tender including labour required to manufacture items. Submitting to client with technical/ commercial summary. liaising with clients.
• - Compiling tender to client’s specification and data sheets
• - Must be able to read engineering drawings
• - Be proficient in Microsoft Office.

The candidate must have the following experience: -

• - Able to read engineering drawings
• - Have experience in an estimating /sales role within a heavy engineering environment.
• - Good Communication skills.
• - Ideally to have been a sheet metal / fabrication apprentice.
