Overview: As a key team member within our London based pan?EMEA Digital Channels and Capabilities team, your role will be pivotal in the transformation of our marketing processes to reshape our organization to deliver best-of-class marketing. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Technology, EMEA you will: • In tandem with all other digital marketing leaders, strive to raise our brand profile, user activation, adoption and engagement for consumers and merchants across UKIE, DEATCH, WE, CEEMEA • Partner with marketing, finance, legal, product and analytics, creative and media agencies in an EMEA-driven global transformational program to streamline marketing activities • Define, lead and implement marketing business process transformation towards customer centricity • Implementation of industry leading marketing systems • Specify, deliver, integrate, optimize and manage the technology environment enabling the EMEA marketing transformation, automation and optimization

  • Best in class implementation, operations and permanent evolution of meaningful new pieces of marketing technology
  • Ensure the evolution of PayPal’s processes to enable the maximum level of marketing relevance is provided to our customers across 100+ countries and 16 languages
  • Define, Measure and Optimize of marketing processes to work together with Digital Asset Management, Content Management Systems, Interaction Management and Value Optimization decision engines to leverage dynamic content and real time data-sources to deliver superior marketing
  • Collaborate with Search, Display, Mobile, Email, Website and Product channel teams within marketing
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product and Data Science to enable next generation marketing within the EMEA organization
  • Global definition of process best-practices with the support of the EMEA organization and team in a highly visible and high value added position

 

Education required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or Technical discipline is required.
  • Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2 or PMP) is desirable
  • Business Process Management is desirable

 

Experience required:

  • Experience working in fast paced marketing organizations striving to deliver customer centric marketing
  • Experience mapping business processes, measuring them, suggesting business relevant improvements and ensuring they get implemented and deliver the expected benefits
  • Experience with Teradata Aprimo MRM, developing flows and administrating the tool, a must
  • Experience working in multisite, multicultural environments
  • Fluency in MS-Office suite and business process modeling tools
  • Experience running projects with clear goals to ensure they get delivered in a timely manner
  • Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to influence senior management
