About the Job:
I am currently looking for a electronics engineer who can also write some embedded C, the organisation are a successful business in their respective field. They have a full order book and are looking to boost the hardware dept. over the next 12 months with 3 new hires. 

Role: Electronics/Firmware Engineer 

Salary: to £45,000 DOE 

Location: Reading 

Length: Permanent 


Full product lifecycle experience from initial concept to test support 
Input to product functional specification 
Input to design & development 
Input to design & development of production test equipment 
Support during customer pre-production builds and trials 
Continuous customer and end-user customer support 


Key Skills: 

Firmware (Mainly Embedded 'C') 
Analogue and Digital Electronics Circuit Design 
PCB design (Altium Package highly desirable) 

Desirable Skills: 

Experience in the automotive industry (Experience in Industrial, Aerospace or Military also an advantage). 
CANbus, LINbus serial communications experience 
Circuit simulator experience 
Design for EMC 
Prototyping experience
