E-Commerce Project Manager

The Role:

The eCommerce Project manager will manage initiatives and projects to help deliver the eCommerce and Multichannel roadmap.  The role is a project management role that will help deliver the roadmap.

Main Details & Responsibilities:

  • Define, scope and deliver projects and initiatives, which can be of dual nature: strategy and planning and project management
  • Estimate benefits, quantified using reasonable assumptions and acceptable analysis
  • Lead and manage the execution of strategic initiatives and handing over as business as usual post implementation and monitoring
  • Develop end-to-end detailed activity maps, timelines and allocation of responsibilities
  • Determine resource requirements and coordinate the process of sourcing those resources
  • Define KPIs to measure the success of projects and guarantee continuous improvement
  • Monitor success of implemented projects on an on-going basis identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Generate commercial insights, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Identifies all concerned parties from within Dixons; involving and engaging them throughout the life of the project
  • Creates Workable and easily understood implementation plans
  • Able to “land” projects in the business (e.g. stores / commercial)
  • Map processes, identify key performance indicators and critical points
  • Business valuation by discounted cash flow and other techniques
  • Identify key deliverables and structure key activities into work assignments.
  • Plan timing and work, monitor progress and ensure compliance to process by teams outside their direct supervision (including definition and tracking of key performance indicators).
  • Motivate team members; keep good balance between delegation and control.
  • Logical structure in covering subjects and making recommendations
