Job details

At Lloyds Banking Group we are committed to putting our customers first and a big part of that commitment is ensuring all our customers are protected from the ever increasing risk of cybercrime. As the threat landscape continues to evolve we want to ensure all our 30m customers can conduct their business in a safe and secure environment. We are continuing to invest in our Cyber Security & Risk programmes and as a result an opportunity has arisen for you to join the Cyber Security team.

As Domain Architect you will be responsible for key contributions into the IT Security Architecture of systems that support a range of brands and business units. You will define the mid to long term enterprise security strategy in one or more security disciplines, protecting the LBG IT estate from misuse or attack. You'll be accountable for defining the conceptual architectural components and building blocks that will be used by the solution design team to construct compliant, secure and trustworthy IT systems. This is a role that matters requiring credible senior leadership qualities combined with deep and broad specialist skills in both security and technical domains.

You'll lead the development and communication to senior business stakeholders on scope and solution options and secure strong engagement for strategies and roadmaps, ensuring that signature programmes align to longer term strategic roadmaps. You'll be part of the programme management team, governing and shaping the delivery of projects and ensuring that architecture decisions are compliant with regulatory requirements (e.g. PCI-DSS/SoX) and internal policies. You will also have responsibility for managing the architecture of programmes and projects reaching across the domain from initiation through to implementation to ensure the dependencies across and within the domain are properly managed.

Given the requirements of the role it's essential you have experience as a leader and mentor across security teams and be a technical expert in chosen area/s of specialism such as Identity & Access Management, Data, Application or Infrastructure Security. You'll be able to evidence previous definition and successful delivery of an IT Security or Cyber strategy/roadmap in a complex technical and shared business environment and have a background of achieving buy-in from senior business and technical leaders with a comprehensive understanding of how controls protecting data, application and networks can be integrated into the system protection architecture.

In addition you'll have a good industry understanding of the regulatory and technology landscape that drive best practice security frameworks supporting IT strategies such as Mobility, Cloud and Virtualisation, the ability to expertly compare a variety of architectural approaches and be able to establish and set strategic direction through reference model artefacts (e.g.. domain architectures).

In return we offer an excellent remuneration and benefits package, a flexible working environment and the chance to broaden and deepen your technical expertise and develop you career within one of the UK's largest financial institutions.

If you have the skills and dedication we require we would love to hear from you…

Our vision of being the best bank for customers is dependent on every colleague committing to and demonstrating our core value of "putting customers first". In joining us you'll have a role that matters and will contribute towards the Group achieving our vision through your day-today actions being performed in line with our Codes of Responsibility and Group Policies. By individually and collectively committing to our Group values and codes, we will be able to make a difference together and help Britain prosper.

We're also committed to employing a diverse and inclusive workforce, reflective of the customers and communities we serve – where all our colleagues can be themselves and succeed on merit.

We're proud to have received the following industry recognition: 'Stonewall Top Private Sector Employer', 'Top10 Employer for Working Families', 'The Times Top 50 Employer for Women' and both 'Gold Standard' and "Best Workplace Adjustments Process" from the Business Disability Forum – each demonstrating our commitment to the principles of agile working and inclusion for all.

So if this sounds like a culture that you'd like to be a part of then be assured that we'll welcome your application.
