DIRECTOR OF WATER/WASTEWATER ENGINEERING Job Description
Goodall Brazier is working with a leading Engineering firm, who feature in the Top 50 engineering firms to work for.
The company provides multidisciplinary services including engineering, environmental, landscape architecture, surveying and construction management and inspection in the Eastern Region of the United States for a variety of public and private clients.
With more than 500+ employees, they utilize the best engineering practices, scientific principles and management solutions allowing them to deliver high-quality, ecologically conscious and cost effective projects on time and within budget.
Goodall Brazier is searching for qualified candidates for the position of Director of Water/Wastewater Engineering to continue to build and strengthen a successful water and wastewater engineering group.
Responsibilities include leading and supporting engineering staff, maintaining and building client relations. Working closely with the marketing staff and senior management, responsible for business development.
Experience:
*Experience in the planning, design of water distribution and sewer collection systems.
*Experience in, utility alignment studies, pipeline analyses and rehabilitation projects.
*Experience in pumps, storage, and treatment preferable.
*Successful management of contracts and interface with clients
*Successful business development including leading proposal efforts and conducting effective presentations to clients.
*Mid-Atlantic background with strong Washington Metropolitan experience including experience with WSSC.
Requirements:
*Minimum of 15 years of successful experience in water and wastewater engineering
*B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
*Licensed P.E
*Knowledge and understanding of the Mid-Atlantic water/waste water marketplace.
*Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
