Across the Group, the Data Innovation team find ways of optimising processes in existing business models and develop data prototypes to ensure we continue to meet the changing needs of our customers.
This role is about the visual design of those data prototypes and being able to articulate key messages through info graphics to senior level decision makers within the Bank. The benefit realisation of this work is growing so we're building capability in our team and looking for an expert in your field to join us.
You'll need to demonstrate extensive experience of designing compelling and digestible visual representations of highly complex data sets including but not limited to the use of colours, graphs and maps. You should have a deep understanding of analytics along with the ability to communicate verbally and tailor your style to your audience, including upto Director level to get key messages across.
You'll have a design or related degree and advanced Excel skills, expert-level proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and experience of Tableau, Data Viz or D3 are essential along with a background of designing visualisation of data.
Key Capabilities, Experience & Personal Attributes Essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confirmed ability to translate complex data sets into easily understood visuals design
- Portfolio including clean, elegant dashboard design
- Degree in design or related field
- Responsive design experience
- Experience using Tableau or equivalent
