Data Entry Officer/Administrator

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Data Entry Officer/Administrator in our fast growing accountancy firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an eagerness to learn and develop in the field of Accounting.

We are looking for a fast and accurate data entry officer to undertake a data entry system. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, committed and hardworking individual with some experience in data entry/administration.

Main Duties:

• Inputting large amounts of data in the system
• General practice works
• Book Keeping
• Administration
• VAT preparation

Skills Required:

• Fast and accurate data entry skills (Essential)
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word (Essential)
• Sage Line 50/ Quick Books (Desirable)
• Good numerical skills (Desirable)
• Must have excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude
• Ability to work on own initiative to strict deadlines and under pressure
• Good at multi-tasking and juggling priorities
• Good time-management

Qualifications desired:

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English and ICT (essential)
• 2 A Levels or equivalent; or
• Level 2/ Intermediate AAT
