About the Job:

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our ‘Special Occasion Linen’ Team at our commercial laundry site in Ross.

We require an experienced customer focused individual to deliver a pro-active and efficient customer care service to our customers.

About Us

We are one of the leading independent laundry companies in the UK, operating in both the linen and workwear rental markets. We have nine well invested production facilities and pride ourselves on offering a professional, quality and customer focused service

The purpose of the role is to process orders for short term event hire linen and to increase sales year on year with current customers, whilst providing the highest standard of customer care.

Key responsibilities and duties of the role;

  • Process customer requests, received via phone and by email, accurately and efficiently.
  • Call customers on a regular basis to develop relationships with a view to increasing sales year on year.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations in line with customer requirements.
  • Ensure all customer orders are responded to in line with the company procedure.
  • Ensure the CRM is kept up to date with accurate information.
  • Dispatch marketing material as required to customers.

About You

This is a varied role in a demanding environment. The successful candidate must be an experienced customer service professional and have excellent administration and communication skills. Good IT skills, particularly in Excel are also essential for this role. It would be a great advantage if successful candidates have experience in a telesales or similar role, experience of a service industry or experience of using CRM packages.

In summary, you should:

  • Have excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
  • Have good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Be numerate and computer literate.
  • Have previous experience in a similar role.

You must have eligibility to work in the UK.
