Customer Service Advisor - Head Office

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Professional to join our Customer Service team on a permanent basis. You will be based at our Head Office in Maidenhead, providing phone based Customer Support to our stores, dealing with both internal and external customers.

The main responsibilities of the role will be the following:

  • Dealing with phone based customer related queries and determining the correct course of action and how to deal with it.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints by phone, email and letter.
  • Investigating situations by liaising with our stores, internal departments and external parties in order to work through to a conclusion.
  • To assist and advise the stores with regard to various customer scenarios.
  • Issuing gift cards and refunds as and when required.
  • Authoring merchandise transfers, liaising with all parties concerned (eg suppliers).
  • Adopting a leadership role in the absence of the department Manager.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

You will need excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, a professional and confident manner and sound background within a Customer Service role. You will need strong phone based skills, a good knowledge of MS Office applications and a flexible approach to working hours, particularly on the run-up to Christmas.
