About the Job:

Disney's corporate team supports creative, technology and business priorities across the entire company in the UK & Ireland. The team works at the heart of Disney's businesses, in a wide range of fields including Strategic Marketing, Corporate Communication, Shared Accounting and Finance, HR, IT and Sourcing & Procurement.

The successful candidate will support the Corporate Brand Management (CBM) team with system updates, communication tools, brand queries, training and brand requests across EMEA. They will be an additional person for teams to go to with brand questions and will coordinate processes, allowing the brand team to expand the remit of approvals and consultation, offering an even more efficient service.

Responsibilities

Manage brand resources / tools for EMEA teams to use:

  • Manage CBM Share Points
  • Maintain Brand training materials
  • Create and update Brand newsletters
  • Build and maintain a data base of best practice examples and worst case examples
  • Liaise with research teams to ensure training materials are relevant for each market
  • Undertake projects in order to educate TWDC employees about the brand e.g. On line training project with the global team & Director
Administrate Approval Systems:
  • Carry out admin tasks of the approval system(s), updating, giving access, IT issues and training
  • Manage the integration of approval systems and processes
  • Carry out some Brand approvals
Create process documents:
  • Support the consultation role within Brand Management 
  • Filter basic brand questions and requests using existing brand guidelines and policy information
  • Filter food guideline questions, using the tools developed for our NG global policy
  • Coordinate approvals for Gift Card & financial service activities with the global team
  • Coordinate legal and franchise issues on specific franchise priorities to be applied for approvals
 
Coordinate Brand Training across EMEA:
  • Coordinate meetings and diaries for brand training
  • Provide updated, relevant and tailored presentation materials
  • Carry out some basic brand training on occasion if required
Manage Corporate Identity (B2B branding, business stationery) requests with Facilities:
  • Coordinate all Corporate Identity and new logo requests with facilities
  • Update style guides and share point
Create Reports:
  • Track the ongoing projects and approvals  to provide insights on activities to identify where training is required
  • Track and create reports for approval submissions
  • Share all approvals / consultation with Director once a week – full report e.g. who trained, meetings invited to, approvals undertaken, updates on any of the above
Areas of Accountability:
  • Accountable to CBM Director. Accountable for keeping CBM systems, documents and share points up to date 

 

Basic Qualifications

Experience and professional qualifications required:

  • Degree in Marketing and / or Communications preferred, or equivalent work experience
Previous experience working with TWDC brands and businesses preferable
 
Skills required:
  • Excellent organization skills and good attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multi lingual would be a benefit (but good English written skills essential)
  • Experience of working with the Disney brand is beneficial
