CONDUCT RISK ANALYST

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Conduct Risk Analyst to join our Group Finance Function. This is a newly created role that will be responsible for ensuring that we have adequate arrangements in place to identify, mitigate and control risk and to ensure that those arrangements are embedded across the business. This is a high visibility role which will require the successful candidate to work closely with senior stakeholders including the Heads of Business Units and Corporate Function from across the business.

You will:

• Design and build the Conduct Risk framework, working closely with the business to develop risk appetite and tolerance statements
• Map FCA regulations and control metrics back to business risks to ensure continuous risk and control reporting through the ERM framework, with a particular focus on Consumer Credit (CONC) & Insurance (ICOBs) Conduct
• Undertake comprehensive Conduct Risk assessment within Line 1
• Work closely with business colleagues to plan and deliver against key conduct risk principles
• Produce, analyse and report key conduct data
• Validate and test key controls.
• Oversee and challenge business progress with regards to driving the conduct risk agenda.

You will need:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in delivering a conduct risk framework in a large, regulatory, focused organisation
• Knowledge of the credit broking and insurance markets, gained through working within the general insurance and consumer credit industry would be helpful.
• Familiarity with the FCA Handbook, in particular; PRIN, SYSC, DISP, TC, ICOBS & CONC.
• An intermediate to expert knowledge of Excel and data reporting
• A strong academic background with a degree and significant experience in a numerate discipline, such as Maths or Statistics and Qualifications in the practice of risk management (IRM- desirable but not essential
• Have a risk analytics background with a broad understanding of Conduct and Risk including full competence with Outcome testing and Assurance work.
