You’ll take a key role in supporting the supply chain processes for the Next Directory catalogues. Distribution of the catalogues is an essential and high profile process and you will be assisting with the day to day hands on management of this.
You will:
- Utilise supply chain relationships to plan and brief the in home launch of new publications.
- Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of key services. You’ll be able to develop and share new ideas, while supporting key events like new season publication launches.
- Use advanced Excel skills to analyse delivery reports and highlight areas for improvements and/or potential efficiencies.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and be able to plan and manage your own workload. You’ll possess a keen eye for detail, allowing you to identify, escalate and resolve any potential issues.
Criteria
About you:
- Be highly motivated and able to work effectively alone and under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Have advanced Excel skills with good overall use of Microsoft packages
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive and flexible approach to work – willing to work additional hours when required
- Able to use your sound judgement to resolve problems
- Haveafull UK driving licence and willing to travel to suppliers when/ if necessary
- A confident communicator, capable of building relationships internally and externally with suppliers
- Experience of print process beneficial but not essential
