CLIENT ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER

Experienced Client Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper required for a high profile West End accounting practice. Managing an interesting varied portfolio where you will be maintaining and developing strong relationships which the firm is known for. You will be dealing with client queries relating to accounting, bookkeeping and VAT, gain a full understanding of the client's needs and have the ability to give clear and concise explanations in relation to queries. ACCA qualified or equivalent as Senior Bookkeeper / Client Accountant with at least five years' relevant experience within a practice environment. As Senior Bookkeeper/ Client Accountant you will need the following:

• Strong and clear communication skills as you will be the main point of contact for your client portfolio
• Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, SME clients and consolidated accounts
• Preparation of financial statement and quarterly management accounts for clients
• VAT preparation for clients and submission to HMRC
• Corporation Tax computation and CT600 preparation using CCH
• Knowledge of companies house procedures for completion of forms (annual returns, changes of directors etc)
• Experience of using Sage and Xero

This position is with an exceptionally well-thought of firm of accountants who are looking for an experienced client accountant/bookkeeper with practice experience to manage an interesting and varied client portfolio.
