Care Assistant / Support Worker / Geriatric Nurse / Carer

Job Role:

The Trust is a well-established charitable care provider in Olton, Solihull. The Trust currently has a vacancy for a full time Care Assistant working days and occasional nights in the Trust's residential care home together with a vacancy for a 'casual' Care Assistant in their Extra Care Scheme.

You will share with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of the Trust's elderly residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence. You will also help in the general day-to-day activities of the scheme.

Key Skills:

• It is essential that you have previous relevant experience caring for older people.
• In addition, ideally, you will already hold your NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care.
• The Trust is looking for professional, self-motivated team players who are sensitive to the needs of older people.
• As the posts involve caring for vulnerable adults, an enhanced DBS check will be taken up for successful candidates by the Trust.
