Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) is recruiting a Business Planning Director to lead the Central Commercial Business Planning team, supporting the establishment of the new entity in Western Europe. 
 
The central Commercial Development team reports to the Chief Operating Officer, supporting five Business Units to generate sustained revenue and profit growth through the expansion of the consumer and customer franchises of the beverage portfolio. The team is focused on the development of capabilities in key commercial areas, and stewards the rapid development of strategic projects impacting multi-markets.
The team works in close collaboration with the central team of the The Coca-Cola Company Western Europe business unit.
 
Your role:
  • Long Range Plan: Working closely with the senior leaders of both Coca-Cola European Partners and The Coca-Cola Company to lead the development of the Long Range Plan, guiding the process through to final sign off  by the Board of Directors.
  • Annual Business Plans: Oversees the coordination of the Country’s Annual Business Processes through to final sign off by the Board of Directors.
  • Business Information: Leads the development of the common enterprise-wide knowledge management system, supporting world class analytics at a local level. Data Provider Partnerships: Manages the ongoing partnerships with the primary commercial data providers, to rapidly deliver the highest quality information to the local insights teams
  • Corporate Reporting: Production of the commercial reports required by the leadership team, to support regular Board of Director reviews.  Similarly supports the Investor Relations team in the delivery of analysts briefings.
  • Charter PMO: Provides the PMO support for Pan European project charters, including regular progress reviews with business unit leaders. Leads multi-market insight project assignments, working in close collaboration with country teams and The Coca-Cola Company.
  • Capability Development: Defines with the countries their Business Intelligence skills / capabilities development needs, and, with external providers, develops best in class training needs, forming a core part of the Commercial Curriculum.
  • Adjacencies: Supports the identification of potential future revenue streams ,and leads the development of the Spirits adjacency project, securing new distribution partnerships to support country ‘pilots’, leading to the roll-out to other markets.
 

 

Qualifications
 
To be successful in this role you need:
  • University degree in a relevant field, MBA preferred.
  • Senior level experience in Strategy, Business Planning or Insight function.
  • High degree of influencing and alignment skills.
  • Multi-cultural outlook, with previous experience working across different countries.
  • Strong presentation skills, to senior level audiences.
  • Customer –service mindset , with strong collaboration skills.
  • Consumer and customer oriented with remorseless curiosity.
  • English fluency – written and spoken; Knowledge of another European language will be considered a plus.
