About the Job:
HOURS: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.Working in a 35,000 sq ft workshop with spraybake ovens, you will be joining a friendly, close-knit team of skilled and dedicated technicians, restoring and repairing crash and accident damaged vehicles back to the highest standards of serviceability and condition.
Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:
* Repairing exterior and interior body damage
* Replacing vehicle panels
* Welding / chassis repair
* Entrance door checks and alignment
* Maintaining and developing technical skills through on-going training and support
Ideally you will be an apprentice trained Coach Builder / Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level 2/3. Preferably you will come from a relevant background and have experience repairing commercial vehicles such as HGV, PSV / PCV, LGV, buses, coaches, lorries, trucks, etc, but applications would also be welcome from ATA Panel Beaters with experience of general accident repairs.
Your current or previous roles may have included: Coach Builder, Apprentice Coach Builder, Body Fitter, Panel Beater, Accident Repair Technician, Bodyshop Technician, ATA Panel Beater, or similar.
