Basic qualifications: 

Bachelors Degree in Audit, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or other applicable degree (ideally a business discipline taught in English) or equivalent

• Proven experience in auditing of a complex multi-entity organisation

• Experience in / knowledge of pharmaceutical or related field experience. 

• Awareness of global, regional and national regulatory requirements and regulations, and ability to assess the impact of compliance regulations on a given area/function. 

• Knowledge of the drug development and/or commercial practices processes

• Has demonstrated ability to manage global projects and programs, which can contain regional focus/drivers in a culturally diverse organization.

• Have a demonstrated and sound working knowledge with understanding of the approach and perspectives of regulatory agencies

Details: 

The purpose of this role is to conduct independent business monitoring on GSKs’ compliance with their global and local policies & procedures, with a focus on Scientific Engagement and Medical Affairs activities and to provide assurance that GSK is maintaining the highest standards through the conduct of independent business monitoring or the receipt of information from third parties who conduct monitoring on GSK’s behalf. 


Key Responsibilities:

o With supervision, and as directed, perform monitoring activities, with a focus on Scientific Engagement and Medical Affairs activities,  according to the independent business monitoring framework to time and quality where required.

o With other members of team, interface with third party testing provider.

o As appropriate, assist with remediation efforts.

o Awareness of local laws and regulations for specific risk areas the framework covers.

o Establish and build credibility and trust with key stakeholders

o Partner with other team members to support implementation of new or enhanced controls to mitigate identified and emerging risks

o Identify and deliver opportunities for continuous improvement of the process
