The Firm
My client is a well-established and high quality 6 Partner accountancy firm with a progressive, client-focused ethos. As part of a high-profile international network, there is a strong international flavour to the client base.
All partners are from a large firm background who wanted to bring the expertise and experience of a corporate accountancy firm to a smaller firm with a more 'family' orientated culture. The office is open plan with a very positive work environment.
The Role
The firm, a well-established mid-tier practice in a prestigious part of London, is looking for an Audit/Accounts Manager to join their team due to expansion. The firm is currently looking for a manager to work on audits of various companies with turnover of up to £20m, denominated in sterling as well as foreign currencies. The role itself will offer a 60% audit and 40% accounts mix of work which makes it a good option for someone wanting an audit focused role but also keep an element of accounts.
You will be a technically strong Audit and/or Accounts assistant manager/manager able to provide assurance, audit, and accounts services to private clients, professional practices, owner managed businesses and mid-large corporates. In addition, you will be able to progress at a fast rate as well as be given the chance to supervise junior members of the team.
This role will give you an opportunity to work in a Central London practice in beautiful surroundings with the atmosphere of a 'family firm'.
In order to be considered, you must:
-Have at least 2 years' experience at a UK based accountancy practice
-Be currently working in an Accountancy Practice
-Be ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong academic record throughout your exams
-Be technically strong and able to lead audits if necessary
-Have strong client interaction skills
