What you become a part of
This role is responsible for management and oversight Treasury operations and controls, operational banking relations, and treasury strategic initiatives, including continuous process improvement and other treasury projects within CCEP. The position is responsible for various aspects of the Company’s cash management/liquidity and operational banking relationship management, including functioning as
(1) cash management expert on collection and payment processes, all financial transactions, derivatives settlements, intercompany loans and dividends settlements
(2) manage CCEP’s operational banking relationships,
(3) business partner with key internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Tax, Legal, Shared Services and Business Unit Finance teams,
(4) comply with all policy and regulatory requirements, liaise with internal and external auditors,
(5) technology management for Treasury specific platforms and vendors,
(6) work on company initiatives including enterprise cash flow forecasting, working capital, finance process improvements,
(7) benchmark and implement best practices for Company in Treasury related areas, and
(8) other Treasury strategic projects as needed.
What to expect
•Develops and implements best practices for cash management systems and liquidity management
•Oversee company liquidity management of seven international cash pools on a daily basis.
•Management of two team members, oversight and review of work
•Manage the company’s operational bank relationships to optimize banking solutions in a cost effective manner, managing bank service charge budget
•Evaluate and implement best practice cash management strategies; working with the shared service process towers, business units, tax, accounting, legal and various members of senior management in implementing strategies
•Ensure financial analysis of alternative liquidity products/techniques for various bank account structures to provide cost-effective cash management solutions
•Ensure compliance on payment controls and processes for cash transactions and settlement processes for foreign exchange, commodities, intercompany loans and investments.
•Ensure proper compliance by company and department of Cash Management Policy including compliance for controls for all cash movements, online banking activity, various bank account administration and transactions are reported to accounting in order to receive desired treatment.
•Work with both internal and external audit teams to ensure all control requirements are met timely
•Oversee business continuity management testing for various scenarios of all critical bank interfaces within the company to ensure the company maintains liquidity during a potential business interruption.
•Manage relationships with third party services providers, e.g., banks, to ensure continued access to quality financial market services are provided at minimal costs while managing annual bank budget.
•Manage and oversee team on special projects- oversight and supervision
•Exhibit project management skills including: ability to creates and execute project work plans on projects as assigned ; revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities, manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
•Oversee technology matters, including vendor management and training.
•Develops relationships with internal and external technical resources, peer and industry groups to ensure Treasury maintains a high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
•Lead the treasury initiatives for the company including enterprise cash flow forecasting, technical advice regarding bank payment and collection products, electronic bank access, bank legal documentation, cashless payments, company credit cards and managing a standardized bank customer service experience for the Finance shared service center.
•Ensure all company stakeholders are informed and moving towards industry benchmark and best practice for all company, treasury and process tower related touch points in the cash conversion cycle.
•Engage on and execute Treasury project initiatives as needed
•Knowledgeable on laws and regulatory environment for banking. Comply with government laws and regulations, and Company specific policies, procedures and standards. Identify and implement internal controls and safeguards as necessary.
•Develops and maintains scorecards to evaluate services provided by each financial institution
•Understands the overall relationships that exist between CCE and key banking providers
•Maintains financial institution business overview summaries and opportunities
•Handles KYC, BSA, CIP, and Patriot Act matters with financial institutions
What we expect of you
Qualifications:
•Undergraduate finance, accounting, or business degree required, MBA preferred
•Professional Treasury certification (CTP or equivalent) desired
Experience:
•Extensive work experience in Treasury, or finance related field
•International Treasury knowledge
•Experience with Treasury Management technology required
Technical Skills:
•Ability to direct, lead, and manage a team. Experienced in managing through influence others on projects and initiatives even with individuals that are not direct reports
•Ability to work as a team player, be self-motivated, and to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and deliverables
•Ability to be personally accountable with the ability to lead change and navigate the organization
•Ability to use sound judgment and decision making capabilities to anticipate demands and actively manage Departmental needs

•Strong ability and prior experience with managing large global bank relationships and negotiating legal agreements, service level agreements, and managing other strategic requests.
•Proven ability to service company needs with new request for bank services that require analysis, evaluation of cash management services, and bank pricing.
•Proven experience with implementing global bank project solutions. Ability to navigate alternatives when needed to lead projects to success.
•In depth and current knowledge of US and European banking regulations and a thorough understanding of general accounting principles, audit controls and their application.
•Ability to liaise with key internal Corporate stakeholders, including Accounting, Tax, Procurement and Legal Departments, and communicate the capabilities of the Treasury Group
•Understanding of capital structure, tax implications and general corporate finance concepts
•Effective written and oral communication for presentation and summary to senior leadership
•Proficient use of computer software packages (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Bellin Treasury Management software)
