Cancer Research UK is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Shop Manager to support real commercial success in our Islington Shop.

Cancer Research UK is leading pioneering, life-saving research and our long-term ambition is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. We wouldn’t be able to achieve this without our 500+ shops across the UK. Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person, and our 1,100 retail staff work relentlessly every day towards this goal.

We need an Assistant Shop Manager to assist the shop manager day-to-day with meeting the shop’s targets. This is a varied role in which you’ll also be responsible for handling sales at the till, encouraging and sorting donations, maintaining standards and providing an excellent customer experience.

You can help us achieve our goal of beating cancer through your commercial awareness, understanding of high street retail fashion. It is essential that you have experience of working with a diverse group of people.

We are looking for people who can be flexible and can work occasional overtime, including on days that are not your normal working days and in shops within a reasonable travelling distance, as required. You’ll love working with people and creating a pleasant and helpful experience for your customers and colleagues.
