Continued expansion has led to the need for an additional Assistant Project Manager. With training provided, the role is suitable for an experienced Assistant Project Manager with multi-site experience, and also suitable for individuals who are ready to make the next move from a site management/supervisory position.
Working on site and in the Blackburn office close to the M6 and reporting to a Senior Project Manager, the role involves managing a portfolio of commercial aluminium curtain wall and window installations across the North West, including the co-ordination of all off-site activities, managing design and procurement, programmes and health & safety set up.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL:
• Assist in managing installation teams on site & monitor their performance.
• Attend meetings and monitor design process leading up to final construction issue drawings.
• Have CSCS, KIC card training for Kawneer, PASMA and IPAF card
• Have SSSTS (desirable but not essential)
• Have the ability to read construction issue drawings (essential)
• Have a full driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Be a Team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels,
• Be self motivated and able to work pro-actively on own initiative
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written,
• Have an ability to communicate easily with colleagues, clients and main contractors
• Be IT literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Libre
• Have good organisational skills and timekeeping (essential)
