IDS employs a considerable team across five locations in a variety of specialist skills including data development, analytics, research, report development, decision execution, CRM, insight consultancy, software development and econometrics and has a very extensive and deep stakeholder base across 30+ areas of Sky, covering every subject - from acquisition to retention, from on-screen to online, from marketing effectiveness to targeted advertising. Main Responsibilities:
Liaise with relevant Heads Of, Controllers and Managers for a key business area - to support their strategy and insight, to inform key business decision-making and to demonstrate a commitment to service and operational excellence.

Support the Head of Insight in driving transformational business performance initiatives through the exploitation of consumer data, insight and measurement to deliver better business decisions.

Ensure adequate resources for the stakeholders are available, in order to deliver predictive, timely and actionable insight to satisfy business demand.

To bring originality and expertise to the insight generation process and to actively support the development of those within the team.

Work very closely with the rest of Insight & Decision Science to understand and influence key decisions that impact Sky


Essential Skills:
Stakeholder Management: Candidate must have a strong track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders, inlcuding at Manager/Controller level.

Evidence that the successful applicant has been able to influence, engage with, and respond with credibility at relevant level, and occasionally at Director level.

Technical skills: Experience of applying predictive modelling and segmentation techniques within a marketing services environment.

Knowledge of customer lifecycle management techniques and their application in a commercial environment.

Extensive experience in analytical tools or languages (SAS, SPSS, SQL) and third party data that can be used to support analysis. Implementation of methodologies designed to drive predictive decisioning within Sky

Measurement of business benefit: Establishment and on-going development of analytical roadmaps across core business areas. Demonstration of measureable business benefit from the development and deployment of analytical projects. Effective management and development of team resources, plus personal and team utilisation targets

Team management: Evidence that the successful applicant has experience in team leadership and line management with small-medium sized teams and has led analytical end to end delivery of analytical projects with multiple stakeholders and multiple products.

Mature approach to client-expectation management
