Are you ACCA or ACA part qualified with accounts and bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment? Are you looking for a progressive firm where you can work on exciting Music and Entertainment clients?Our client are a Top 50 accountancy firm based in the West End with a strong focus on media & entertainment. They are extremely progressive, technically strong and offer a positive working environment.
They are currently seeking Music and Entertainment Semi-Senior to join their team. The role will involve:
- Undertaking day to day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients within the Media and Entertainment industry
- Assisting with handling of the portfolio’s financial and personal affairs, as per the client’s needs
- Assisting with the maintenance and review of accounting records raising issues to relevant Managers
- Assisting with raising sales invoices, considering the VAT position on international invoices
- Preparation of VAT returns and EC Sales Lists for manager review and client approval
- Liaising directly with clients and suppliers on basic queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with management reporting and annual accounting compliance by preparing accounts and reports such as comparing actual to budget, wealth statements
- General administration as per the requirements of the portfolio
As the successful candidate you will have:
- AAT qualification and/or working towards ACCA/ACA qualification
- Experience working in a UK Practice
